The essay traces the history of the pleasure residence of Pietro Giannone on the Vomero hill in the village of Due Porte through the reading of letters by the famous jurist, known archival sources, and other unpublished ones, consulted at the Historical Archive of the Banco di Napoli and Naples State Archive. The cross-referencing of data with the analysis of historical cartography and locations has made it possible to identify the site of the casino, whose architectural transformations were then studied in depth, designed by Ferdinando Sanfelice and carried out during the years of exile by his brother Carlo.
