The contribution examines the role of informal spaces in shaping urban identity, with a particular focus on multi-ethnic communities. Through fieldwork conducted in Naples municipalities II and IV, this contribution presents a mapping experiment that highlights invisible aspects, social relations, and intercultural practices in urban spaces. These spaces, often excluded from official planning, reveal an intangible urban heritage generated from the bottom up. Mapping thus becomes a practice of recognition and inclusion, facilitating the rethinking of more equitable and pluralistic public policies.

Abstract
The contribution examines the role of informal spaces in shaping urban identity, with a particular focus on multi-ethnic communities. Through fieldwork conducted in Naples municipalities II and IV, this contribution presents a mapping experiment that highlights invisible aspects, social relations, and intercultural practices in urban spaces. These spaces, often excluded from official planning, reveal an intangible urban heritage generated from the bottom up. Mapping thus becomes a practice of recognition and inclusion, facilitating the rethinking of more equitable and pluralistic public policies.File in questo prodotto:
