Il metodo storico-comparativo di Raffaele Pettazzoni come cambio di paradigma

This paper seeks to explore whether, and to what extent, Raffaele Pettazzoni’s historical-comparative method represents a paradigm shift in the study of religions. To this end, the core elements of Pettazzoni’s methodology will be analyzed based on his published and unpublished works. Additionally, Benedetto Croce’s critical stance on the history of religions will be examined to provide a contrasting perspective.
