This research aims to establish the impact of collaboration between school and family on the efficient management of classes in the field of early childhood education, as well as to investigate the ideal level of contribution perceived by parents and educators. The qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews conducted in the Campania school context during the second semester of the 2023/2024 school year. Through convenience sampling, the study included both preschool teachers and parents of students from five selected schools. The results of the interviews were examined through descriptive analysis and content analysis. This revealed that the majority of teachers believe that parents provide them with effective assistance in various aspects, with the exception of managing students' misbehavior. Nonetheless, some teachers and parents highlight unresolved critical issues in the context of school-family collaboration, suggesting the need to implement various solutions to improve this partnership.
