The implementation of cardiac scintigraphy in the diagnostic flowchart of CA has contributed to transforming the epidemiology of this condition, which is now increasingly recognized as a possible cause of HF. The screening of high -risk populations and early identification of CA are crucial to promptly commence patients on novel disease modifying therapies, which improve clinical outcomes when a sustained suppression or stabilization of amyloid precursor proteins is achieved.
