Cities are composed by a generating centre, called “historical centre”. Sometimes they make up the heart of the city, detached at time. Still this centre defines the identitary sentiment of the community and it offer theyself as link place between people and between past, present and future time. Than urban historicity, that is accompanied by its stones, can transfer consciousness of a not now-time and not contemporary-time only; a spatial conformation resilient and protagonist constantly, proof of a local and social culture, perceived by user strongly. This contribution presents a technological reading of the factors that linkeds the gradual transition between historical city and future city, according to the ways of living the urban matrix, the contemporary social rhythms and the urban quality that attracts, in an abstract way.
