The article presents a structural system patented by the authors. It is based on the assembly of iron and woodwith threaded 'pins', clamped in a vice to ensure a sustainable development process (SDGs). The execution and design methods revisit ancient technologies in the light of advanced research. The focus is on the structural connections of a construction system that clamps the steel frame elements with wooden bead boards allowing the assembly of prefabricated and flexible components, customized according to composition. The system can be assembled and disassembled as quickly as a tent, but compared to it offers robust and comfortable accommodation. the occasion is propitious to reflect on a paradigm shift that in accordance with the Goals set by the United Nations 2030 Agenda implements Design for Adaptability strategies. Reducing waste and pollution, facilitating product reuse or recycling were reasons for designing the system to the date optimized to promote virtuous life cycles and examine economic and environmental impacts.
