The massive spread of the Internet, the growing use of social networks and the creation of apps have increasedand simplified the activity of unaware profiling of users. The phenomenon becomes much more serious when itaffects vulnerable users. The GDPR 679/2016 deals very precisely with the issue of profiling personal data byoffering adequate protection in several articles by providing adequate security measures to protect users of newtechnologies and paying particular attention to vulnerable users.
