Digital technology has had a revolutionary effect on all aspects of human behavior, including the field of economic activity. Consequently, legal ruling must now be interpreted on the basis of new exigencies. This paper focuses on the role played by internet service providers which, while supplying users with access to the Wold Wide Web, claim network neutrality and refuse liability for users’ activities.
