This essay focuses on the relationship between political revolution in Modernity and the concept of time. The idea of revolution emerges from the internal forum of conscience and finds its public legitimation, in terms of an absolutized figuration, by assuming christian eschatology as its foundation. In this paper I seek to thematize this link by means of a genealogical-historical analysis.

Abstract
