Amyloid toxicity and platelet-activating factor signaling.

Amyloidosis is the accumulation of insoluble proteinaceous aggregates in vivo and is implicated in many neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's, Huntington's, and Parkinson's diseases.
