Abstract

Several new techniques for the measurement of glycosilated hemoglobin (HbA1C) in circulating blood have recently been introducted. This measurement is now routinely performed in most clinical laboratories and antidiabetic center. This work aims at providing useful information on the analytical reliability of the methods employed for the measurement of HbA1C, which show the patient's average glucose level.
