The attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADH D) is a condition that interests both children and adults with low attention, hyperactivity and difficulty in the regulation of their physiological activation. Some patients with ADHD (40-50%) present also learning deficit (disorders in reading, writing and calculation). This condition is due to genetic, biochemical and social factor that cause a deficit in the development of cerebral circuits that control inhibition and self-control. The diagnostic evaluation is realized with interviews associated with tests that study the level of other abilities showing a deficit in ADI-ID. The symptomatic treatment is based on pharmacological therapy in patients seriously ill, while the other associated deficits (disorders of behaviour, learning and social relationships) will be treated with psychosocial and psychoeducational therapy interesting particularly family, school and child. The logopedic treatment is important in children with ADHD and is part of a plurispecialistic therapy that involves also parents and school and that aims to improve learning deficits in children with ADHD.

Abstract
The logopedic treatment is important in children with ADHD and is part of a plurispecialistic therapy that involves also parents and school and that aims to improve learning deficits in children with ADHD.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
