This work aims at examining an innovative system of energization within the configuration of the building with a low energy intensity. Particularly the operational methodology involves the extensive building of rural type rather than the urban building in order to study the problem in cases of a more direct interaction with the environment, that sets more limits and bonds to reach the goals of a low energy consumption. In order to reach a low energy intensity system, a particular integration of well-tested technologies is examined, that use solar energy and groundwater, when it is available, as it happens in many Italian rural areas. The integrated system allows to supply the necessary electricity to the rural residence and its appurtenances, as well as the required heat to the air conditioning, regaining groundwater for irrigation and washing too. The system of energization using renewable solar source and techniques of energy saving represents an eco-friendly solution for the problem of the energy supply of a small rural complex. Such an application, based also on the heat recovery of the groundwater generally allows a large "environmental saving" meant as a control of the induced pollution and landscape impact. The implant is an example of how good results of environmental comfort and production operations can be achieved in a rural building even within a configuration of a low energy intensity system and a minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
