An investigation was undertaken to characterize the composition of the EUF anodic membrane deposits (EUF amd), in comparison with that of the standard soil clay fraction (sCf) obtained by the classical procedure. X-ray diffraction studies showed that the EUF amd separated from a volcanic Inceptisol was constituted by illite-mica, kaolinite, K-feldspar, zeolite, pyroxene. The same minerals were also found on the respective sCf. Strict congruity between the mineralogical properties of the EUF amd and those of the sCf was evidenced. -from Authors

Abstract
An investigation was undertaken to characterize the composition of the EUF anodic membrane deposits (EUF amd), in comparison with that of the standard soil clay fraction (sCf) obtained by the classical procedure. X-ray diffraction studies showed that the EUF amd separated from a volcanic Inceptisol was constituted by illite-mica, kaolinite, K-feldspar, zeolite, pyroxene. The same minerals were also found on the respective sCf. Strict congruity between the mineralogical properties of the EUF amd and those of the sCf was evidenced. -from AuthorsFile in questo prodotto:
