The test of messenger RNA of prostate specific antigen is clinically useful so as to be introduced in the treatment of prostatic cancer. This study highlights the capacity of RT-PCR technique of differentiating healthy subjects and patients affected by metastatic prostate cancer. Actually, molecular biology technique based on RT-PCR show high sensibility and specificity in detecting cells which express mRNA for PSA.
