Introduction. The psychological factors are the cause of urticaria in 11-21% of the cases. Purpose. We described the urticaria syndrome produced by face-book in young subjects and the methodology diagnostic employed. Materials and methods. 8 women and 6 men, aged 14-17 years(DS 1.1578), with psychogenetic urticaria have been studied with the interviews and the thematic appercetion, Machower, tree tests and the Wisc and Wisc-R scales. The lesions rose up during the use of face-book and they persisted 10-15 minutes after its term. Results. The patients showed psychic and/or emotional conflicts, stress e/o hyperemotivity, repression of the pulsions, anxiety e/o depression, aggressive (5 women, 4 men) or submissive attitude (3 women, 2 men), low psychosomatic rebound and uneasiness from the itch. The correlations among the finds underline tall significativity (p < 0,0001). Discussion. Psychogenetic urticaria can be induced from: psychic conflicts or conditioned stimuli. The lack of maternal cares and the need of affection develops -aggressive attitude (petulant subjects) with a violent explosion of desire-pulsion, iperhemotivity, anxiety, anguish - submissive attitude (insecure subjects) with masochists and sexual regressive behaviours, of guilt. The lesions and the vasodilatation express in the bodily language the application of attention, the perception to suffer maltreatments or the reaction self-punitive, while the itch represents a selfpunishment, erotic pleasure or a compensatory mechanism. Face-book appears shaped by two factors: the character and his contacts. The first represents an expression of the his own self, the contacts are the social approval. To alienate the character determines in the young mind a destruction of the self esteem and of the confidence. For these motives face-book can constitute a source of psychological stress in degree to increase the pathology
