In this paper we investigate the scattering properties of a linear array of finite-length single-wall metallic carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). The problem is cast in terms of Pocklington-like equation, where the current distribution along the nanotubes is given by a recently proposed model, which describes the SWCNT electrodynamics within the frame of a quasi-classical theory of the transport in the metals. The numerical solution is obtained by means of the Galerkin method, taking into account rigorously the singularity of the kernel. Case studies are carried out, either referred to isolated SWCNTs and array of SWCNTs, aimed at investigating the frequency behaviour in the low IR range of the scattered field.
