Abstract

In the Italian context, where teaching practices often remain confined to enclosed spaces and predominantly theoretical approaches, schools face increasing difficulties in addressing the challenges posed by socio-environmental change. Building on participatory observation conducted at Bang Kobua Primary School in Bangkok, this paper adopts a comparative perspective to examine the transferability of an educational model grounded in outdoor learning and experiential, place-based practices.
