The integration of digital technology has profoundly reshaped the educational landscape, influencing pedagogical practices, administrative strategies, and institutional governance. Despite the growing body of research on digital transformation in education, the field remains fragmented, lacking a comprehensive framework that bridges management studies and educational research. This study addresses this gap by conducting a bibliometric analysis of scholarly literature on digital technology in education, using the Web of Science database. Employing the Bibliometrix package in the R environment, this research identifies key thematic areas and emerging research trends. The results highlight the increasing academic interest in the digitalization of education, with a particular focus on technological innovation, digital governance, and the acceptance of digital tools among educators and students. The analysis also reveals critical challenges, including systemic barriers to adoption, disparities in access to digital resources, and the need for interdisciplinary approaches. By providing a structured overview of the existing literature, this study offers a roadmap for future research, emphasizing the importance of strategic investments, targeted teacher training, and policy frameworks that ensure an inclusive and effective digital transformation in education. The findings contribute to both educational and management research, offering insights for policymakers, educators, and scholars seeking to navigate the evolving landscape of digital education.
