The SARS-CoV-2 emergency has forced us to come up with new cultural proposals tailored to new needs in terms of accessibility and sustainability. SIRA has already responded positively to the PNRR with a proposal to play a role linked to its nature as a scientific network with national reach. This confirms what is already present in the 2021-27 National Research Programme (PNR), in which the five areas proposed for research on cultural heritage include digital transition, sciences applied to heritage, the rediscovery of removed and unrecognised heritage, the application of new economic models including energy transition, and digital tools for a participatory approach. With the above in mind, the challenge is to make the recovery and rebirth of the Campania cultural landscape feasible through concrete measures, following the ancient route of the Serino Aqueduct. In addition to being a testimony, the entire Campania region has a symbolic value closely linked to the element of water, in its traditions, culture, and agricultural and rural structures that still characterise the environment and landscape. The implementation of a variety of actions can more effectively safeguard the state of the cultural landscape: the feedback effect would bring into play the awareness of citizens, in order to recover a wealth that seemed lost. The cultural and sustainable dimension is the backdrop to this research. It is not only interested in “how to preserve”, but also “what and why”. The aim is to channel research into the mapping of the architecture identified in the World Heritage Online Map Platform (UNESCO), into the digital modelling of historical and interesting elements (HBIM) and into geographic information systems (GIS), building tools for planning, management and periodic monitoring of interventions, optimising timing and reducing costs.

Abstract
The aim is to channel research into the mapping of the architecture identified in the World Heritage Online Map Platform (UNESCO), into the digital modelling of historical and interesting elements (HBIM) and into geographic information systems (GIS), building tools for planning, management and periodic monitoring of interventions, optimising timing and reducing costs.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
