Paesaggio agrario e limitatio. Dalle sopravvivenze archeologiche alla pianificazione territoriale moderna: casi studio dalla Campania settentrionale

this contribution offers some considerations on the traces of the Roman centuriation, both in relation to the methodological approach to be use in investigating and their impact on the modern rural landscape. The case studies of Telesia and Caiatia (Northern Campania) were analysed, within the Archaeological Map of the Campania Project. In the Ager Telesinus Maps of the Archaeological Potential were also produced, thanks to collaboration between the University, Soprintendenza and local Government, that considered the traces of the Roman centuriation, to evaluate appropriate interventions for land-use planning.
