The paper describes the application of the adaptive reuse concept to the infrastructure network that connects the rural villages of the THERME project. The aim is to improve knowledge and sustainable use of the network’s bio-cultural landscape by integrating new uses/functions. The pilot project is an opportunity to methodologically test innovative environmental design solutions and best practices of sustainable mobility, through an effective resource management.
