This paper analyses the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), two tools that can be applied for data analysis and collection, and whose processing and interpretation enables significant insights into emotional intelligence. In this regard, two application case studies that are emblematic of the integration of these technologies will be showcased, namely TokBek, an innovative smart intercom equipped with empathic design and artificial intelligence to monitor the quality of front-office service in offices, and VarGame, a VAR (Video Assistant Referee) system applied to table football that integrates Internet of Things artificial intelligence, demonstrating how these technologies can be used to collect relevant data and analyse emotional intelligence in different contexts.
