Abstract
With the entry into force of the recent Regulation (EU) 2024/1143, the European Legislator adapts the subject of Geographical Indications to the objectives of the Green Deal. Sustainability, circular economy and protection also on the web are among the main innovations introduced. This is a useful opportunity to offer a reflection on the importance of these agri-food products, recognized among the European quality schemes. The Regulation in question also creates a “unitary and comprehensive” system of protection, giving greater powers to the Commission, to producer groups and increasing attention to consumers.File in questo prodotto:
