The first findings of the cognitive process of knowing about the old medieval settlement of Casertavecchia (CE) are presented in this research. The study is a component of a much large, ongoing research effort whose primary goal is to provide a framework that can ensure the responsible and safe use of the Southern regions’ cultural heritage. the goal to promote the reduction of seismic risk and thoughtful tourism use is to be achieved through a multidisciplinary approach that results in a comprehensive understanding of the good and the digitization of its intrinsic and extrinsic qualities. Within this framework, the best practices of the survey in conjunction with digital technology are shown as the initial crucial step towards safeguarding and actualizing the digital record of a tangible and immaterial historical legacy. The integration of techniques and equipment for the close-range survey is the main objective of the first stages that are suggested. The collected data has been moved to a specially created database, which will serve as the foundation for further data administration and gathering at various detail levels. Abstract
This database will also be necessary for quick data review, even in emergency scenarios.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
