IL COMPLESSO CIMITERIALE NAPOLETANO DI S. MARIA DEL PIANTO: CONOSCENZA E CONSERVAZIONE DI UN PAESAGGIO PLURISTRATIFICATO

The cemetery of S. Maria del Pianto configures an interesting, multi-layered cultural Neapolitan landscape, where since ancient times many values were sedimented together with still recognisable landscape qualities. The study of a wide, largely unpublished, documentary apparatus compared to the survey of the site's as-found condition, lets us record a historiographical restitution of its features over time, so realizing the very base of any future suitable preservation plan.
