It is not possible to understand the meaning of architectural masterpieces built throughout history without first understanding the meaning of “being an architect” and how his activity developed. The use of the copy of drawings, the importance of treaties for the transmission of knowledge, the meaning of the centralized plant or the importance of mathematics and geometry in the diary work of architects in the Early Modern Age are some of the concepts in which this volume deepens, to get closer to the historical and social context of this period so important for the future of architecture.
