A deeper knowledge of the history of the suburbs after World War II, can contribute to the recovery of the identity of some parts of the city, in an attempt to restore them to a more conscious use by of the community, even following the strong demand of collective spaces. The focus on the eastern area of Naples, highlighting the care with which the first districts were designed, in respect also of the townscape, offers food for thought in this direction.
