Since 1987 I carried out at the Architecture Faculty of Naples an interdisciplinary thesis in the architecture’s history and design/drawing (speakers: prof. Giancarlo Alisio and Mariella Dell’Aquila), my research interests are consolidated more and more in ‘drawing area’ with particular attention to matrix geometric-configurative analysis of architectural design, in survey practice and in architecture and environment representation procedures. Recently my studies are in the field of visual communication and graphic design. The geometric-configurative matrix analysis of the architectural design has been developed in the fields study of fortified architecture, in architecture of ‘ovata’ plant, in Neapolitan open-staircases and in ornamental design/drawing. These studies have contributed to the theoretical knowledge in military treatises fields, tracking the ‘ovata’ figure, in the study of vault organisms and in reticular symmetries applied to decoration. Studies in the field of architectural survey are affected the contemporary city reading and introduced the ‘multi-dimensional survey’ concept while those on the city representing manner faced in geometric key themes of landscape painting and descriptive cartography.

Abstract
Studies in the field of architectural survey are affected the contemporary city reading and introduced the ‘multi-dimensional survey’ concept while those on the city representing manner faced in geometric key themes of landscape painting and descriptive cartography.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
