Abstract
Crossing the landscape between land and sky. The Ronaco Bridge between nature and handicraft If it is true that the "landscape narrates human history in different ways […] the événements, that is the remarkable facts whose stage was", it’s also true that it has captured its essence not very really, besides its transformations caused by the eternal dialogue between man and nature, and its structure composed by layers whose unchangeable feature consists on variation. Inside the slow and relentless process of stratification of the signs and traces that characterize the landscape, the paths roads are persistent signs of primary importance not only for their primary function, but also for the function of memory engraved on the territory. They represent important evidences of the past and their presence reminds us of the social and political actions along the centuries and permits us to understand the evolution process. We must also consider the great importance of bridges in the development process. Bridges are essential to re-create the complex historical mosaic work and social evolution. The Aurunci Bridge in Sessa Aurunca (CE), built during the Traiano age in the I° middle of the second century after Christ, is one of the most important Roman Bridge in Campania for size and preservation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
