As part of the studies raised by participation in the research group of Neapolitan COFIN 2005 with national responsibility of Prof. S. Della Torre del Politecnico di Milano, the contribution, developed in the work of the unit B with reference all'areale Campania in the research group of the Second University of Naples has investigated the variation in quality of performance techniques for the realization of traditional factories. The preciousness of pillows tuff, offered in their ability to be docile to the geometric design of stereotomie located in close connection with the territory from which is extracted the material of the main characteristics of an identity discourse that today we would call as a real Know how. The know-how traditional exhibition to represent a store of experience and knowledge processes largely abandoned, in a very hasty, in the years when it was decided to introduce the process of industrialization of the construction site. The current climate, in the pursuit of sustainable models and ergonomic use of resources test, through applied research, to bridge the gap of knowledge, knowledge which, however, may fail to give in entirety without the humble work of 'interrogate the factories.
