“Teaching began when a man, sitting under a tree, began to discuss, not knowing what to be a teacher, with people who did not know themselves to be scholars (...) but wished that their children meet with a man like him.”(Louis Kahn, 1964) The contribution faces the issue of both trainers’ training and importance that such a moment is supported by specialised contribution of scientific Research. An explicit example is the work made by school networks taking part in the ScuolAmbiente proclamation. These schools have engaged own human and economic resources to carry out a training project considering the Research fundamental for the didactic path: they believed in the importance of the scientific knowledge structured to orientate, qualify and support teaching, from both disciplinary and methodology point of view. The tested method is funded on Best Practices to be implemented in order to describe learning and knowledge transfer waste, according to the approach of “environmentally friendly behaviour”.
