Apart from a few studies, there has been little new world research in wine evaluation that has ventured sensory-chemical related studies. In this paper we discuss linear and non-linear generalizations of Partial Least Squares Regression model via ANOVA type decompositions, as suitable techniques to study wine evaluation by modeling dependence among hedonic judgments, sensory characteristics, chemical-physical variables.

Abstract
