This paper presents deMIT Open Research, an exploratory project developing a digital infrastructure for knowledge sharing within the National Doctoral Programme in Design for Made in Italy. Addressing the fragmentation of research production across a dispersed community, the initiative combines co-design and action research across four phases: co-creation, keyword normalisation, prototyping of an interactive R/Shiny web application, and ongoing integration with the institutional platform ATENA. The resulting tool makes thematic affinities among doctoral projects visible through keyword-based network visualisation, supporting community-building and sustainable open research practices.
