The study of a service space of an ancient Roman house within the Basilicas complex of Cimitile allows us to verify the continuity of traditions in the area in the production and transformation of agricultural products. Together with the architectural typology, the shape of the dolia was studied, which were used to preserve the wine. Thus a historical continuity is established between generations of men who have inhabited the same land in different eras.
