The ever-growing risks of cyberattacks are a major security concern for drone-based applications in U-space, which potentially lead to increasing vulnerabilities and threat scenarios. This necessarily calls for the assessment of security risks in U-space solutions. Moreover, automated security risk assessment shall be explored for facing the U-space complexity and improve cost-efficiency in engineering secure systems. For this purpose, ontologies may effectively support the formal knowledge representation of security-related aspects in U-space and for automating some assessment steps with proper inference rules. This paper proposes a preliminary concept design of a cybersecurity ontology that will integrate and correlate the specification of different information to be used in assessing the security risk of U-space solutions.
