The contribution presents an educational-experimental experience developed as part of the “Yamamay Reloaded” project, which addresses the transition from fast fashion to fashion consciousness by integrating creative reuse, responsible consumption and eco-design, and experimenting with the use of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) tool. As part of European strategies for sustainable textiles, the project transformed unsold stock into new collections through slow production processes, digital traceability and rigorous design documentation, according to the Research-Action approach. The results highlight not only the environmental and economic relevance of the experiment, but also its socio-cultural dimension, as the PDP is a tool for transparency literacy and consumer empowerment across all consumer types, promoting critical awareness and new forms of accountability. The methodology adopted, based on a combination of scientific research and educational experimentation, proves to be replicable and transferable to other areas of design beyond the fashion sector, providing a model of innovation capable of integrating scientific rigour, design creativity and sustainability.

Abstract
The methodology adopted, based on a combination of scientific research and educational experimentation, proves to be replicable and transferable to other areas of design beyond the fashion sector, providing a model of innovation capable of integrating scientific rigour, design creativity and sustainability.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
