To achieve the ambitious goal of climate neutrality by 2050, the European Union should implement actions that go beyond mere emissions reduction. It is imperative to integrate circular models to optimise resource use, minimise waste and promote the restoration of natural ecosystems. In the construction sector, the adoption of such models is hampered by a lack of accurate data on the existing building stock. To fill this gap, the research project has focused on developing a user-friendly operational tool called “Technological Component Passport (TCP)”. The results presented are about a hierarchical multilayer analysis methodology of the building system into technological components, classified according to function and lifespan (time). This approach makes it possible to assess the energy and environmental (CO2eq) performance and the remaining service life of each component. These data are essential for conducting the life cycle assessment (LCA) of existing buildings, facilitating the implementation of circular strategies.

Abstract
These data are essential for conducting the life cycle assessment (LCA) of existing buildings, facilitating the implementation of circular strategies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
