This study explores the architectural complex of Santa Maria della Vita in the city of Naples and aims to investigate the workflow carried out so far, through the critical analysis of historical sources and drawings, in order to evaluate the different architectural stages of the monastic complex up to the current configuration, and to gain a new insight of the inner disappeared sacred space through the digital relocation of some of the work of art which were originally placed inside the church. The study is part of broader funded research focused on creating new access pathways to the city’s often inaccessible religious heritage, and trying to establish a common workflow of knowledge, usability and accessibility for these architectural complexes within the city of Naples.
