The research focuses on an inaccessible religious architectural complex within the City of Naples, i.e. the church and monastery of Santa Maria della Vita, inside the Rione Sanità, and it is aimed at documenting not only the architectural evolutions of the church from its foundation until the present time, but also the different non-religious uses the monastery underwent from the suppression of the carmelite monastic order (first half of the 19th century) until now, as a base for its best conservation and future enhancement.
