Fat polynomials were recently introduced as a generalization of scattered polynomials. These polynomials define linear sets on the projective line with r points of weight greater than one and also rank-metric codes with a certain number of matrices of lower rank. In this paper, we explore 1- and 2-fat polynomials, providing examples and some classification results.

Abstract
Fat polynomials were recently introduced as a generalization of scattered polynomials. These polynomials define linear sets on the projective line with r points of weight greater than one and also rank-metric codes with a certain number of matrices of lower rank. In this paper, we explore 1- and 2-fat polynomials, providing examples and some classification results.File in questo prodotto:
