NEED (New Empatich Educational Design) is an Italian project for orientation and tutoring funded by the Ministry of University and Research, coordinated by the Vanvitelli University. The Project involves 18 university locations with the participation of the University of San Marino. It promotes education in design using methods, processes, and tools that respond to the needs of 'a new lifestyle' through the empathetic and technological relationship between nature and artifice. NEED structure of places/laboratory for students, researchers and teachers, open to local stakeholders and aimed at education in sustainable and transdisciplinary design, to allow the construction of educational paths that strengthen skills, digital technologies. The focus is development of soft skills, through the connection between Schools, Universities, the Territory, Enterprises, and Organizations. The ROOT DESIGN and SOUND DESIGN collections are represented by 300 artifacts born from the observation of Nature and created according to the principles of ecodesign, described here as methods usable in sustainable design.

Abstract
The ROOT DESIGN and SOUND DESIGN collections are represented by 300 artifacts born from the observation of Nature and created according to the principles of ecodesign, described here as methods usable in sustainable design.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
