The aim of research is the restitution through ex-novo images of the majestic eighteenth-century event, carried out in Paris during the reign of Louis XV and documented in the volume Description des festes données par la ville de Paris […] (1739). Aware of the importance of documentary heritage (which often survives in only images), the goal is to return ‘unedited’ images oriented toward a renewed enjoyment of Cultural Heritage, whose sources are intangible.
