This paper wants to dwell on the need to better manage, both in terms of effectiveness and efficiency, one of the largest social, intercultural, and health critical issues globally, that is, disability. In this regard, the objective of this paper is to propose the innovative disability and diversity management models, and to identify, in sports activities, the optimal tool for applying these operational strategies and pursuing performing outcomes through the lens of intercultural approach. The work is part of an extensive research which aims not only at merely describing the phenomenon, but at proposing a “best practices” strategy to deal with the critical aspects of disability.
