Graphic representation is an essential tool for the investigation of architectural and urban space, which allows recognizing the identity aspects of a site. The public space is the place of the perceptual experience and the sphere destined to movement, sociality and collective living. Most of all the visual stimuli generate a reaction in the relationship between human beings and urban environment. Objects of this research are urban parks, in which the analysis through drawing can focus our attention, considering the significant importance of visual stimuli to certain chromatic folders. In fact, although there are some colours more commonly present in different types of green and urban spaces, it is possible to identify multiple declinations that provide very varied colour palettes. This paper is part of a wider research project, related to contemporary urban parks, which aims to identify the possible combinations of colours that determine positive reactions and well-being. In fact, in urban places, colour can be an element that brings relief, evocation and surprise. It is a vector of beauty and a fundamental component of social behaviour and in this sense colour expression is a fundamental language in the individual experiential dimension in a collective social space. The paper proposes a graphic representation that reproduces abstract images made using chromatic folders extrapolated through analysis software, leaving aside any figurative vocation.
