“World Industrial Design Day™ (WIDD) is an international day of observance celebrated throughout the world in recognition of the establishment of the World Design Organization™ (WDO) on 29 June. WIDD increases awareness of the profession of industrial design and champions the power of design to strengthen economic, social, cultural, and environmental development”. The exhibition on the "stage" of Napoli Teatro Festival Italia narrates through video presentations projects and training courses of the designer, responding to the WIDD focus. A selection of 613 products of the students participating in V: @POTDESIGN, the digital tutoring course started at the time of COVID in San Lorenzo Campus online on Saturday 21 March, with weekly seminars held every Saturday and Sunday and concluded today 29 June 2020. As we reflect on the theme of "design for everyday life" through the objective of the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot help thinking about humanity's relationship with "things" in the hopes of building a better world.

WIDD aumenta la consapevolezza della professione di design industriale e sostiene il potere del design di raorzare lo sviluppo economico, sociale, culturale e ambientale”. La mostra sul “palco” di Napoli Teatro festival Italia racconta attraverso video-presentazioni progetti e percorsi di formazione del designer, rispondenti al focus WIDD. Una selezione di 613 prodotti degli studenti partecipanti a V:@POTDESIGN, il Percorso di tutorato digitale avviato al tempo del COVID nel Campus di San Lorenzo online sabato 21 marzo, con seminari settimanali svolti tutti i sabato e domenica e conclusi oggi 29 giugno 2020. Mentre riflettiamo sul tema del "design per la vita di tutti i giorni" attraverso l'obiettivo della pandemia di COVID-19, non possiamo fare a meno di pensare al rapporto dell'umanità con le "cose", fiduciosi di costruire un mondo migliore.
