Jewels as Multiples is a research project that was founded in 2011 by a cultural need of AGC - Association of Contemporary Jewelry - to build a bridge with ADI Industrial Design Association and the world of Italian manufacturing industry. Focus of the project is the theme of seriality and of new production systems and the analysis of the collaborative possibilities between designers and companies. The project involved many figures of Italian jewelry design and organized numerous activities in several Italian cities, such as Bologna, Naples, Milan, Vicenza, Trieste. Its ultimate goal is the promotion of a new way to design, focused on technologies and manufacturing processes through a collective effort.
