Abstract

In the cities the myth safeguard traces, clues, ‘evidential signs’ that are revealed in the Art, in the Architecture, in the Urban design, giving it a form and a character that make it recognizable over time and handed down in the local culture. These are the signs of the past that are consumed and replicated in a process of continuous regeneration. To record the cyclical repetition allows to scan the rhythms of the places that live them, to represent on the wire of the historical memory the spatial and temporal dimension of the local communities. This research performed on the Litorale Domitio proposes, therefore, to surveying and make visible the information of local culture that structure the urban memory of these places for the relaunch of historical and cultural identity of the domitio territory and local communities, subject still discussed and of extraordinary relevance.
