The table MS 3031 belonging to the Schoyen Smaller Collection is examined. This piece is catalogued as “Architect's drawing of the ground plan of the palace of NUR Adad, 1865-1850 BC” Archaeological excavations of a royal palace discovered in Larsa and the substantial correspondence with the graphic of the tablet, justify the reference to the residence of Nur Adad. The relevance of the attribution has stimulated a more careful reading of the tablet, suggesting reflections that, expanding the traditional scenarios, invite us to look at the analogous tablets of the so-called "Era of Larsa" as building surveys able to witness the civilization of ancient Babylon.
